Don McIver

Don McIver is a freelance writer and poet who for the past year has been the host/producer of the very successful radio weekly ‘Spoken Word Hour’ on 89.9 KUNM-Albuquerque. Don’s poetry has been featured in The Albuquerque Journal, Crosswinds Weekly, The Weekly Alibi, The Tongue's Literary and on-line magazines Jambands.com, SpokenWar.com, Poetry Super Highway.com and Wangzen.com. Don has performed his poetry at venues including Sonny's Bar & Grill, the El Rey Theater, the Launchpad, The Reptilian Lounge at the Riverside Repertory Theater and Babooshka. Don also hosts a features only reading series at the Blue Dragon in Albuquerque.
